8 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Sahara desert
Day 1 : Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Start of the trip in Tangier at the agreed place: airport, port of Tangier Ville if you are coming from Tarifa or port of Tangier MED if you are coming from Algeciras, departure to the Rif with destination Chefchaouen. Short stop in Tetouan. Arrival in Chefchaouen, the “blue city”. From one of its beautiful viewpoints we will have the opportunity to take a splendid photograph. Dinner and accommodation in riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknez – Fez
Departure towards Fez.the first stop will be to visit the Roman city Volubilis with our local guide.then continue to Meknes, we will make a small visit ending the day in the city of Fez. Dinner and lodging.
Day 3: Fez
After breakfast we will begin the visit of this beautiful city with the help of our official guide.Madrasas, tanneries, souks, gardens, palaces and infinity of multicolored stalls will open to our eyes. Dinner and lodging in Fez.
Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga
Today we will depart towards the south: Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, the Cedar forest of Azrou with its curious settlers, the Azrou volcanic region, the magnificent rocky valley of the Ziz river as well as its immense palm grove, continuation of the trip to Merzouga and transfer to the jaimas camp. Night and dinner in jaima with private bathroom
Day 5: Desert Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
The early risers will have the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful sunrises one can enjoy. After breakfast we will go to the city of Rissani, the nucleus of services in the area with one of the most important agricultural and livestock markets that we will visit until lunch time. after this visit we will go to the river Todra, then to the valley of the river Dades, to continue to the city of Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Talouet – Marrakech
After breakfast we will visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, then through the Ounila Valley we will visit the kasbah of Taoulet, residence of Glaoui. Late afternoon we will reach Marrakech. Accommodation.
Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech
Our local guide will make us a wide tour of the city that gave name to this country showing us some of the following places: Jemaa el Fna Square, Baadi Palace, Bahia Palace, Saadies tombs, and of course, the impressive Medina. Afternoon free to practice art bargaining. We suggest dinner in the square.
Day 8: Marrakech
A the time indicated transfer to the airport.
