4 days tour from Fez to Marrakech via Sahara desert

Day 1: Fez – Middle Atlas – Azrou – Merzouga desert: Our tour from Fes to Marrakech. Our departure start from Fes to Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, the immense cedar forest of Azrou with an important colony of macaques of Berberia. Then we will cross the Middle Atlas and its difefrnetes and beautiful steps to reach the impressive gorges of Ziz by Ghar Zaabal and then its palm kilometre, we will continue to the city of Erfoud, famous for the manufacture of fossils found in the oceans that flooded this place millions of years ago. Arrival in Merzouga, the rest of the day will be dedicated to appreciate the peace of the desert.

Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Encounter with nomads – Erg Chabbi: After breakfast we will begin the grand tour of the dunes, passing through many desert villages one of which is the village of Khamlia where we will enjoy Gnawa spiritual music performed by descendants of ancient slaves from sub-Saharan areas. Afterwards we will follow the nomads route to discover their way of life so simple but full of generosity and hospitality, in the afternoon some camels will take us to the camp of tents to spend the night under clean and overwhelming skies.

Day 3: Erg Chabbi – Rissani – Gorges of Todra – Valleys of Dades and Roses – Ouarzazate: We will get up early to see the beautiful sunrise from the top of the dunes. After breakfast, again the camels will take us back to the vehicle to continue our route to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will stop to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all southern Morocco where 367 villages around their shopping, we will continue to Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, Roses Valley and the oases of Skoura.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech: After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech we will visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou declared a World Heritage Site and the scene of numerous films, then continue the route to Marrakech on the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi N’tichka pass, we will see beautiful views dotted with Berber villages and farms. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
